The building is located on a quieter street, but is only two blocks away from cities main thoroughfare - Charles Street. You can walk to many shuttles, buses, penn station, and zipcar has a strong presence in the Mt Vernon neighborhood. Modern conveniences include a cellphone based intercom system (UPS can drop off your Amazon purchase, while you are not even home) and a newer heating system. Apartment does not have central heat, but comes with a powerful portable AC, that keeps it cool in the summer. The old brick walls also help with the insulation and the apartment stays very quite.
