The living room is spacious, opens to the back deck and has a large wood burning fireplace. Living in Tahoe City in the winter is great if you ski at Palisades Tahoe, allowing you to avoid some of the traffic coming from Truckee and Highway 80. The neighborhood and Snowflower Lane are hilly so we recommend having a 4WD vehicle with good snow tires to safely get around on big storm days.
