Roommate Wanted!
Enjoy sunset views overlooking the west hills and Pearly District in the new Cook St apartments. I am planning to renew my current lease that will end August 29th 2018 for a a 6th Floor (top floor) 2-bedroom 2-bathroom apartment on N. Williams Ave and am looking for a new roommate to share the apartment. The apartment has a balcony with a spectacular view of the West Hills, Fremont Bridge, and Downtown. My current roommate and friend Randy, has accepted an invitation to move to Denver for a great opportunity and thus I am on the hunt for a replacement roommate. Randy was planning to stay around until Aug 1st, although arrangements can be made a sooner move-in date is needed.
Location: N. Williams Ave and N. Fremont right next to the New Seasons. The apartment is ideally located in between the restaurants and nightlife of Mississippi St (0.5 miles away) and the artsy Alberta District in NE (1 mile away). The is a Compass coffee and a New Seasons within 1-block, with an assortment of other restaurants and bars within walking distance on N. Williams.
Cost: $1225/ea for rent. Electricity has been averaging $20/ea and utils another $30/ea.
The Apartment: Ducted Central AIR CONDITIONING! Washer/Dryer included, Spectaular Balcony View, Dishwasher and all modern applicances, Each bedroom has their own private bathroom.
Apartment Amenities: Free Coffee Machine downstairs, secure bicycle parking, work out room with free weights, yoga/cardio room, quiet study area, and entertainment lounge. The best part is the rooftop deck that is two doors down that has ping-pong, grills, a fire pit, and beautiful views of Mt. Hood and downtown.
Bike Commuters: Apartment is inbetween N. Vancouver and N. Williams which are the main bike routesto the Pearl and downtown from N. Portland.
Car Commuters: I park on the street in the neighboring streets almost always 1-2 blocks walk. Garage parking is available for $120.
About Myself: I am a 32 yr old working professional who lives an active lifestyle and seldom found just lying around the apartment. I enjoy running, cycling, skiing, climbing, and going out to socialize with friends. While I am not OCD, I am a clean person and keep my belongings out of the common areas and respect my roommate's privacy. Typically I do not have people over too often, although I enjoy having friends visit occasionally to grill or for big sporting event.
I've lived with both M&F roommates so both are welcome.
While I don't personally have any pets, I am very pet friendly. Cats and dogs are both welcome!
