My husband and I are looking for someone to take over our 1B1B apartment lease at the Estates of Bellaire. It's pet-friendly and within walking distance to a dog park! It's also quiet and centrally located: 5 min to Upper Kirby/Montrose, 5 min to the Galleria, 10 min to Downtown, 15 min to the Medical Center.
The complex features a resort-style pool plaza with a hot tub, resistance pool, and fire pit; multimedia room with surround sound and theater seating; indoor basketball court and gym; tanning facility, business center, and entertaining area with a coffee bar and billiards room. The complex is not super new but it's very well maintained. The leasing and maintenance staff are top notch; they get things fixed on the same day and notify you when you have packages! It's also a great community. The office hosts community events (movie nights, food truck Thursdays etc.) and they have a courtesy police officer on site.
We just bought a house and are planning to move out early July but our lease isn't up till 10/28/2018. The current rate for the same-sized apartment (631 sq. ft.) is $1,100+/month but if you take over our lease, you'll pay our lower rate ($1,012/month, incl. reserved parking) and have the option to extend at the end of the lease period. The apartment will be unfurnished except for the in-unit washer/dryer, fridge, dishwasher and microwave.
NOTE: This is NOT a sub-lease; you will need to pass a background and credit check to replace our names on the lease, but we will reimburse the application fees! ($65 for background check and $175 for lease application).
