Sugar Top is a gated resort that offers a 24/7 front desk host, security and a guard at the gate, and we were just voted 2025 Best Resort in Avery County! This condo is available for short or long term weekly/monthly stays. Nearby: Food Lion, Subway, McDonalds, China House Restaurant, Fred and Larry’s Coffee, High Country Pie (delicious homemade meat pies) and Bella’s Italian Restaurant are all within a ten minute drive. The space The master bedroom features a queen sized bed and the guest bedroom has a queen and twin bunk beds. There are lots of board games in the guest bedroom. The baseboard/central heat and three portable air conditioners ensure you’ll be comfortable no matter what time of year you visit. Enjoy watching your favorite shows and movies in the family room and master bedroom … you are able to log in and stream any of the apps you have at home (guests must provide their login information). There is a charging station with an assortment of charging cables in the console table. There are also plenty of books to choose from there. Feel free to keep the book if you have not finished reading it by the end of your stay. We provide a Keurig coffee maker, regular coffee maker, coffee pods, sugar, and creamer. We also have a teapot. There is a starter supply of paper towels, toilet paper, dish detergent, trash bags, salt/pepper shakers, and blow dryers in each bathroom. Guest access You must be at least 25 years old to book and stay at this condo, and children must be 8+ years to stay. The names and ages of all guests must be provided and drivers licenses will be requested at check in. Check in is at 4pm. Guests will stop and check in at the guard gate, park up at the entrance of Sugar Top (there are five spots available), unpack your belongings, then park and ride the shuttle back to the entrance. You may ask at the front desk if there is available parking in the owners lot (sometimes there is during slower times). Check in at the front desk and receive a key(s) for the unit.
