The Pippin Street community is a group of folks living as neighbors for years (the longest has lived here for over 20!) in a 10-unit, 2-structure garden style apartment complex. We are in the process of organizing with each other to build the trust, connection, and infrastructure needed to become “Resident Owners” with EB PREC and secure cooperatively owned, permanently affordable housing.
Co-ownership means shared risk and shared responsibility, as well control of your own home in cooperation with other residents. We are looking for future co-owners of Pippin St, who are excited about co-owning and co-stewarding this land and its structures with other residents, and to participate in resident training and in meetings to make decisions together. The property is not scent free.
