On entering the apartment itself, you'll be greeted by a warm, inviting living area, with a comfy and tasteful couch and chair, along with warm carpeting, a TV, end tables, and a credenza. The living area also has a workspace. The kitchen is well-equipped for all your cooking needs, including pots and pans, silverware, dishware, wine glasses, drinking glasses, etc., as well as basic spices. There is a fridge, microwave, stove, oven, dishwasher, and washer/dryer. The main bedroom has a king-sized bed perfect for sprawling out on and getting a good night's rest and plenty of closet space. Downtown Menlo Park, centered on Santa Cruz Ave, is less than a mile away, and is a great place to drink coffee, eat out, or window shop the various stores. It's a leisurely 15-20 minute walk. Bustling downtown Palo Alto, anchored on University Ave, has a myriad of fantastic restaurants, coffee shops, and high-end boutique stores, and is about the same distance. Menlo Park and Palo Alto both have Caltrain stations, from which you can zip up to San Francisco on our brand new shiny "bullet-ish" trains in just under 45 minutes. Other than Caltrain, this part of Silicon Valley doesn't have great public transit, so you'll likely need to rent a car, or take Uber or Lyft.
