I just moved into this apartment, and am looking for the right male apartment mate. I run a local startup and moved here to be closer to our office, and am looking for someone who would also love the great location and modern new rooms/amenities--it's available for immediate move-in. About the apartment: It's a newly renovated, one bedroom apartment in a professionally-managed building. There's a small kitchen area connected to the living room, and I'll be staying in the living room. You'll have your own private room with access to the kitchen area and bathroom. The bedroom is unfurnished. -Newly renovated: all the appliances (refrigerator, microwave, oven, and stovetop) are brand new, state-of-the-art. Bedroom (carpeted) has its own closet and its own cooling/heating, with a large window. Everything is very clean and new. -In-house amenities: there's a gym and business lounge in the building, as well as a small market. There's also a rooftop deck with a nice view of DC. -Central location: we're located at 16th St and Massachusetts Ave, which is just a 7 minute walk away from Dupont and Logan Circle. The White House is three blocks away, and the red (Dupont station) and orange/blue (Farragut) lines are easily walkable. There are also metro busses, shuttles, and Circulator busses running a couple blocks away that quickly take you to Chinatown and Georgetown. I'm looking for: A responsible male apartment mate who can help keep things clean and quiet. No pets, drinking, smoking, or parties please. Terms: Rent is $1100 a month, including utilities and internet. Available for immediate move in: first month's prorated rent + $275 non-refundable cost (charged by landlord to add your name) + $1500 refundable deposit.
