"This is it." Is what our Realtor said when this impossibly dreamy two-story condo townhouse came across her desk. She was right.6-603 is part of the Chateau Falls complex, but that's easy to forget when when you climb the stairs to your brownstone-inspired private entrance right on 15 Ave. Forget your keys? No problemthe personalized keypad entry has your back.
Once inside, hang up your coat in the foyer closet then head upstairs to your marble-topped kitchen—complete with chef-approved island. (The island even has a hidden spice rack we didn't know about until our cat discovered it.) The modern appliances, including built-in microwave and dishwasher, make cooking a joy and your guests can chill at the bar top while you hand them snacks or refill drinks. As you cook, step out onto the kitchen balcony (the first of three) to grab a handful of fresh herbs. Leave the patio door open to let in a nice breeze and the soothing patter of the courtyard fountain.
After dinner, gather in the living room to chat by the gas fireplace. On a spring day, the north facing windows let in dreamy light stained pink by the cherry tree in the yard. Get a little closer to the blossoms by stepping out onto the second of three balconies, a Juliet, above the door (pining for forbidden love optional, but encouraged.)
Retire upstairs to the second floor. A full-floor bedroom with stunning walnut built-in closets on either side of the bed and a nook at the foot of the bed, perfect for a small office or reading corner. (See if you can spot the hidden wall safe...) North and south-facing windows on either side of the bedroom let in light and a breeze, helped along by a ceiling fan. The full bathroom caps off this floor, with the same marble counter in the kitchen.
What's that? What about the third balcony? C'mon, no inner city condo has three balc—this inner city condo has THREE BALCONIES!
Balcony number three sits just off the bedroom. Overlooking the courtyard fountain, it's the perfect place for a BBQ, especially if you have guests enjoying your private rooftop patio.
Did I mention the private rooftop patio? An outdoor spiral staircase from Balcony Three leads to your cheeky third floor. 360 degree views of Beltline await, with patio furniture, a planting bed, and solar lights to enjoy endless Prairie nights with family and friends.
