We are looking for a reliable resident caretaker for our White Rock property: a 1-bedroom + den suite. How it works: rent is $2,000/month which will be reduced by $600/month for up to 30 hours of caretaking leaving $1,400/month net payment due. The caretaker role is set out in a separate agreement, and all tools are provided. The caretaking is straightforward general property upkeep: a weekly exterior walk-around to clear and blow debris and remove cobwebs, lawn cutting and weed management in the growing season, snow clearing in winter, garbage and recycling, collecting mail and deliveries, giving contractors access and monitoring when needed, basic smart home-tech support such as cleaning cameras, replacing bulbs and batteries. Someone with general handyman skills is preferred (low voltage wiring / general plumbing) and who takes pride in keeping a property looking its best.
