Room available for rent in apartment building - Royal Crest Marlboro @ $782 per month. I have uploaded pictures I've taken and some stock pictures from the apartment's website. Preferably a working professional. Goes without saying that the person should be clean, responsible and friendly (like someone advertises otherwise). Non-smoker - I've had previous roommates who smoked outside and brought the 'aroma' back in with them - I'm having none of that again. Pets are most certainly welcome! There's an additional pet deposit though. About me - your potential roommate: I am Abhi, a mid 20s Indian guy working as the Director of Business Development for an IT company. Been here in Marlboro/Boston just over a week. Went to grad school at BU and spent 6 months in LA before moving to DC. Spent a year there and now find myself back in MA. I am big into sports - don't play too many but follow plenty. I hike on most weekends. I am not OCD about keeping things clean but cleanliness does matter - helps keep the mind uncluttered. I do not smoke or drink (I'll have an occasional one). My work does involve travel from time to time. I also adopted two kittens recently! About the apartment: One of the pictures should be a floor plan. Your room will be 12x11. It has a closet for clothes. More storage is available in a large closet opposite the bathroom. There are plenty of power outlets in the room to handle the number of devices we all own these days. There's a window that opens to the side of the building from where you can see other parts of the housing community. Wood floors everywhere - feels sturdy and doesn't creek like I've seen in some other places. Sufficient counter-top space for a regularly used kitchen. Washer and dryer in the building downstairs. Very large living room space (pictures will show you) with an attached balcony. The view from the balcony is of other buildings of the community. Parking is available at an additional $15/month (unassigned). For common area furniture, I have a couch at the moment. I'd like to know if you can bring something else to add to the living/dining area. I also have kitchenware - a common starter kit that Walmart sells. About the housing community: Royal Crest Marlboro is about 3.5 miles from 495, 7.5 miles from 90 and 10 miles from the Framingham Commuter Rail station. With a car, it is easy to get to Natick/Framingham/Worcester for work. I've been told people also commute to Boston and it is not bad. It has a 24 hour gym, tennis court, basketball court, a community garden where you can grow your stuff (details I don't know) swimming pool, grilling area, pool table, a club house with a kitchen, free Wi-Fi in most common areas. If you need more than this, I'd be worried. :P About the neighborhood: The housing community has many other apartment building around ours that are very similarly setup. The community is quiet and well maintained. For someone whom aesthetics matter, this really is pleasing to the eye (check out the pictures on the link I shared above). There are plenty of places to eat within a walking distance of the community. Walmart Supercenter is 3 miles away - I get everything I need from there.
