This is a rural setting, so expect wildlife, insects, and uneven ground. Quiet hours are from 9:00 PM to 8:00 AM, and outdoor noise should be kept to a minimum, especially at night. No parties or events are allowed, and the guest count must match the reservation. Daytime visitors require prior approval. One dog is allowed with prior approval and an additional fee, but no cats are permitted. The property is on a private well and septic system, so no outdoor hoses, sprinklers, slip and slides, or kiddie pools are allowed. Flush toilet paper only, and please use water conservatively. AWD, FWD, or 4WD is recommended in the winter months (October–April), and all-weather tires with good tread are required. No changes to check-in or check-out times are permitted during holidays or from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Early check-in or late check-out may be available outside of these dates with advance notice and approval, and changes are subject to availability and may include an additional fee. There is limited or no cell service, so enable Wi-Fi calling before arrival and save or screenshot arrival details in advance. The driveway is plowed and shoveled every 3–4 inches of snow, and a shovel is provided for guest use. Salt is not provided, so guests are advised to bring some if needed. Host and service providers cannot provide roadside assistance or tow services.
