The efficient kitchen is stocked for everyday cooking and includes a stove and refrigerator, but no dishwasher or microwave. Relax in the comfortable living area with forest views, or dine at the table which can also be used for remote work. The cabin is heated by a wood stove only and does not have air conditioning.
This cabin is dog-friendly with prior approval and an additional fee, and no cats are allowed. A propane system is being installed in the fall. Early check-in or late check-out may be available for an additional fee, subject to availability.
Located on a quiet dead-end road, this secluded cabin is just 15 minutes from Margaretville, Roxbury, Andes, and Bovina, offering easy access to dining, shops, and year-round adventure in the Catskills. The surrounding Delaware County is a premier four-season vacation destination perfect for outdoor enthusiasts and those seeking a peaceful escape.
The loft bedroom is accessed via a ladder, and guests should be comfortable climbing. The natural pond is for swimming at your own risk. Due to the rural setting, expect wildlife, insects, and uneven ground. Quiet hours are observed from 9:00 PM to 8:00 AM. No parties or events are allowed, and the guest count must match the reservation. No smoking is permitted indoors. A vehicle is needed to enjoy the countryside as there is no or limited Uber or cab service in the area. Rural, mountainous roads can be unpredictable in winter, and AWD, FWD, or 4WD is recommended with all-weather tires. The driveway is plowed and shoveled for guest use. Guests are advised to bring salt if needed, as it is not provided. Host and service providers cannot provide roadside assistance or tow services. Check-in is between 4:00 PM and 10:00 PM, and check-out is at 11:00 AM. There is limited or no cell service; enabling WiFi calling before arrival and saving or screenshotting arrival details in advance is recommended. Guests must flush toilet paper only and use water conservatively due to the private well and septic system. Active wildlife is common in the rural Catskills setting.
