Private driveway with ample parking is available. A vehicle is needed as there are no Uber or Lyft services in this mountainous area. Guests should be prepared for driving on hills and mountains. During the months when snow is likely, October through April, a 4WD vehicle is necessary. The driveway to the house is downhill with gentle curves and is maintained in the winter, but 2WD vehicles will likely not make it back up the driveway.
Located just 2.8 miles from Belleayre Ski Center, this retreat is close to hiking, fishing, and outdoor recreation. It's a short drive to charming Catskills towns, shops, venues, and dining, offering easy access to year-round activities. The neighborhood is known for its outdoor recreation, scenic beauty, and charming small towns.
Quiet hours are observed from 9:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Keep outdoor noise to a minimum, especially at night, as sound carries in rural areas. No parties or events are allowed, and the guest count must match the reservation. Daytime visitors require prior approval. No smoking is permitted indoors. Pets are not allowed. The property is on a private well and septic system; no outdoor hoses, sprinklers, slip and slides, or kiddie pools are allowed. Flush toilet paper only (no wipes or paper products) and use water conservatively. Located in a rural Catskills setting with active wildlife, common sightings may include deer, raccoons, foxes, and coyotes. Insects and occasional rodents are part of the natural environment. While the home is professionally cleaned and maintained, sightings of ants, insects, or signs of wildlife may occur, especially seasonally. Do not leave food or trash outside or unattended indoors. During winter travel (October–April), rural, mountainous roads can be unpredictable, and AWD, FWD, or 4WD is required with all-weather tires with good tread. The driveway is plowed and shoveled every 3–4 inches of snow. A shovel is provided for guest use. Salt is not provided—guests are advised to bring some if needed. Host and service providers cannot provide roadside assistance or tow services. Check-in is between 4:00 PM and 10:00 PM, and check-out is at 11:00 AM. Early check-in or late check-out may be available but will not be determined until 2 days prior to check-in or check-out. Any changes are subject to availability and include an additional fee.
