I just found out I'm moving for work, which means I unfortunately have to give up my room in our beautiful and spacious 3-bedroom/1.5-bath, two-story Logan Circle rowhouse. It's a great location, within walking distance to every metro line and fun restaurants and bars on 14th St. and Shaw. The house is mostly furnished, but the room is unfurnished. The shared spaces (kitchen, dining room, living room) plus the half-bath are on the first floor; the three bedrooms, full bath, and full-size front-load washer/dryer are on the second floor. The house has beautiful hardwood floors throughout, and the downstairs has an open layout floorplan. The kitchen is very large and fully updated with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. The available room is large (approximately 12'x12') with TWO full-size closet and two large windows. The house also has a fairly large outdoor area with a picnic table and some outdoor furniture. A grill would certainly be a nice addition! The room is available as early as mid-February, but we're looking to fill it by March 8th, at the latest. We're looking for someone who is able and willing to sign a long-term lease. Rent is $1,280/month. Water and trash utilities are included, but electricity and cable/internet utilities are not included -- this comes to approximately $75/person/month (usually less). Street parking is available, and there are also two spots in the garage that are currently rented out, but we can also change that arrangement if you wanted to park your car there ($150/month). Walk score is 94 out of 100. There is a dog (6 year old Border Collie) in the house, but no additional animals are allowed in the house at the moment. The ideal roommate is a young professional (male or female) who is friendly and clean (but not obsessively so). The two roommates who are staying in the house are mid-late 20's to early 30's males. They're both easy-going and friendly. We all get along and occasionally hang out or watch tv together, but we're also busy with our own lives.
