We are two girls looking for a third roommate for April 1st (preferably female and within the age range of 25-30). There is a shared kitchen, living room, and washroom. The apartment is located on the second level of a house. The bedroom available is $500 a month, is approx. 120 sq. ft. and there is additional closet space outside the room for extra storage, as there is not a built in closet in the room. Previous roommates have brought their own clothing rack and the one currently in the room may be available.
The street is fairly quiet and the large window faces the back of the house so it's even quieter. There is room to store your bike on the front porch or in the garage in the back. There is no laundry, but there are a few laundromats within a block. No AC, but you can bring an AC unit. The landlords take great care of the space, and us. Additional costs include $17 for internet per month and around $35 for hydro every-other month. Close to Kensington, Bloor Street, and everything. Also, parking is pretty good on our street for yourself or guests.
A bit about us:
We are two girls mid to late twenties. We both work full-time. I am possibly attending grad school in the fall. We aren't partiers but have guests over here and there and are respectful of each other. We both like to cook and hope that you'll be able to pitch in with cleaning. Our interests include: music, travel, and studying dance. The girl moving out will be taking the majority of her furniture so if you have any kitchen furniture (mainly a kitchen table and chairs, microwave) and dishes, and/or living room furniture that would be a bonus. You are more than welcome to paint any of the rooms if you'd like. Lots of potential to make the space your own and make it cozy.
