Hi! We have room available on or around March 1st in Park Slope on 9th street between 5th and 6th avenues. The apartment is a 3BR with a large living room and kitchen. It is across the street from a large grocery store, a block and a half from the F/G/R, and walking distance from Prospect Park. The room itself is about 10'x12.5' with a small closet. Room has southern exposure and gets plenty of natural light. The room can be furnished (as pictured) or unfurnished depending on your needs/wants. The three other roommates (a couple and a lady) are all in our (very) late 20s-early 30s, and have a good balance of work/social/home life. We have opposite work schedules, so don't see each other that often, but when we do we like to catch up/have a beer/be nice to each other. We aren't crazy party animals but tend toward being night owls over early risers. We are pretty laid back, but we need someone who is not going to be a monster human who doesn't clean up after him/herself in common areas and leaves hair in the shower drain. If we wanted to live with children in our 30s we would have made different life choices, ya know? POSSIBLE DEAL-BREAKER: The bathroom is in between the two bedrooms that are not available, meaning that you'll have to go through someone else's room to get to it. It's unusual for people to be in both rooms outside of 3am-8am because of our schedules, but it happens. Similarly, the room for rent is the only access to the deck (a private deck for the apt!) and we love our deck, so you'll have to deal with people coming in an out of your room as well. It's not ideal, but it's also $900/mo to live in Park Slope with a deck and life is about compromises. Very unfortunately, we can't have pets. Utilities are usually less than $50/month. We don't do cable but we have apple tv and an antenna so the basics are covered. We won't need to you to sign a lease when you move in, but will need a security deposit.
