The room is available to sublet from April 1- July 31 with the option of singing on the lease for another year. The room is relatively spacious (about 15-20 ft by 10 ft). The unit has a fully equipped kitchen with a small common/living room. Current roommate is in his mid 20's and very laid back. The rent costs $1050 per month with water included. You will be responsible for cable/internet and electric. Washing/dryer in unit. The location is unbeatable and very safe. Union Station is only a 5 minute walk away. Easy access to the X2 Metro bus and eventually the H Street streetcar will be available for use. A "Giant" grocery store is within 1.5 blocks of the apartment. A "Whole Foods" will be opening within the next few months just a couple blocks away from the apartment. Numerous restaurants and bars within walking distance. Nando's Chicken JUST opened right next door too! Requirements: Per the landlord's request, you will need to provide a credit check/credit score and meet with the landlord. If you miss rent or pay it late, I will suffer the consequences so I need someone who is responsible and trustworthy. Two or three references are also required upon meeting with the landlord. It is also requested that you meet the guy you would be living with, as his opinion is essential in deciding who gets to move in.
