I am on the search for a new roommate to share my lovely suite with! :) The suite is on the top floor of an old (but newly renovated) Heritage House in The Upper Hastings/East Van area. The room available is a semi-private loft with lots of natural light, with a large (shared) living room, medium-sized kitchen (with dishwasher), beautiful vintage bathroom (with large claw-foot tub), and a huge back deck with amazing views of Burnaby, Downtown Vancouver and the North Shore. The rent is $725 all utilities included with free internet and free parking. Laundry is $2/load, located in the basement downstairs. I work full time downtown and my hours are kind of all over the map most of the time, so I'm in and out of the house for the most part but enjoy my down time when I have it. I'm very clean and respectful of others space and enjoy cooking whenever I get the chance. I'm not much of a partier, but I do enjoy having the odd friend or family member over for dinner and a couple drinks. I'm hoping to find someone around the same age (25-30) who is super down to earth, tidy and respectful (preferably not a couple) that is hoping to stay longer term. 99% of the furniture is mine, so someone with minimal bedroom furniture is preferred. Plant-friendly cats are welcome! The loft is available March 15th or April 1st. Located near Boundary & Hastings - Close to many local restaurants and main bus loop.
