The second bedroom in my 2BD/2BA condo will be available starting April 1st. The condo is beautiful and spacious. The kitchen has a gas range, granite counter tops, and a dishwasher. Just off the kitchen are the washer and dryer. The living room features a 47in LED TV with Apple TV (Netflix, Hulu Plus, HBO Go, ESPN, etc), and a juliet balcony. The door from the dining area opens onto the 120 sq ft terrace/deck. It's a wonderful place to enjoy a morning coffee, an evening pint, or to spend a summer afternoon grilling. The bedroom itself receives great light (as does the entire unit), and is just across the hall from the guest bath. The unit is setup with high-speed fiber optic Internet. The up/download speeds are both always >100Mbps, even over wifi. Best of all...it's included in your rent (and there's no dealing with Comcast. . .). I can also bump up to 1Gbps service (extra $20/month) if you require significant bandwidth. Perhaps the greatest thing about this place, though, is the location. It's seconds from the bars and restaurants of Olive Way, around the corner from one the best coffee shops in Seattle (Analog), and short walk to all Capitol Hill has to offer. It's a 15 minute walk to SLU/Amazon, downtown. Bus stops for the 43 and 8 are one block away, and the 49 stops just a few blocks away on Broadway. The new Capitol Hill light rail stop is just a 4-5 min walk up the street. About me: I'm a graduate student at UW conducting cancer research. When I can tear myself away from lab, I try and get outdoors or explore the great food and drink scene in this town. I'm definitely a booze nerd, and I try to run wine tastings out of the condo about once every 1-2 months, though science has gotten in the way of that lately. What I'm looking for in a roommate: Clean, respectful, non-smoker. Ideally, someone who's laid back and social who can sign a 6 to 12-month lease. Rent covers everything except Seattle City Light (gas + electric), which we'll split (generally $25/person per month in the winter, ~$10/person in the summer).
