Hello! (I just reduced the price from $950 to $850. I've been looking for a few months and could really use a roommate ASAP!) :) My name is Anna. I am currently looking for a FEMALE roommate to move into my apartment ASAP. I am not a partier and am fairly quiet, so I am looking for a roommate with similar qualities - the main quality being respect. :) The apartment is a one-bedroom. I moved into the living room, so I am renting out the bedroom. The total cost for the apartment is $1475. I am asking my roommate to pay $850 (because of the bedroom), plus splitting the cost of utilities. (I will be separating my room in the living room with curtains or something like that, but I think having your own room with a door is truly worth $850 in this area. The door is attached to the living room. There is no door between your room and the closet hallway and bathroom, so you could put up a sheet or something else.) Utilities are included, except for water, power, a State of California charge, and internet, if you'd like to split mine. There is also a one-time deposit fee, which is returned when you leave if there are no damages. The apartment company also requires that you fill out their application, pass a credit check, and sign the lease, which all includes a one-time $40 fee. Just so it's easier to read, here is what the monthly total pricing looks like of what you'd be paying if we already split all the utility costs: 850.00 - Rent 850.00 - One-time Deposit 40.00 - Application Fee 1.80 - State of California 9.50 - Los Angeles Department of Water and Power 29.94 - Time Warner Internet We would share the walk-in closet, bathroom, kitchen, and other areas. The only place that would be exclusively yours is the bedroom. Please check out the attached pictures! (And please excuse the mess; I was still in the process of moving in!) :) Some perks of the apartment building are its location, parking space (that we could take turns sharing), outdoor swimming pool, sauna, laundry room (common area), and a pool table. Unfortunately, pets are no longer allowed. The complex only has pets from older tenants.
