My roommate is moving out and I am looking for someone to take her place in our apartment. The apartment is super clean, airy, and bright, and is located on the first floor at 1017 S 7th Street (right by 7th and Carpenter, a block away from the Italian Market). The apartment has a huge kitchen with a brand new stainless steel oven, garbage disposal, and an eat-in kitchen with a breakfast bar. The available bedroom is a good size, with two closets and plenty of room for a queen sized bed, dresser, and desk. There is coin-operated laundry in the basement, as well as a 10x10 storage unit. A bit about me: I am a 27 year old female in my 3rd year of law school. I'm open to a roommate of any gender, as long as you are responsible, keep common areas clean, and are able to keep up with paying rent and utilities on time! No smokers please. Rent is $800/month plus utilities. Utilities are super reasonable...gas and electric usually are less than $50/month; we almost never need to turn on the heat or AC because the apartment is well insulated, so those are very inexpensive. This is a great apartment in a super nice neighborhood...really close to the Italian Market and Passayunk bars/restaurants and is an easy 15ish minute walk to Center City and Old City. It's an awesome apartment for graduate students/young professionals! The lease starts on August 1st, but there is some flexibility to move in sooner if need be.
