A room, approximately 9 x 10 sq. ft, is available July 1st in a 2 bed/1 bath unit. The apartment also has a washer / dryer inside the unit and a private deck within a fenced-in backyard. It is conveniently located and is: - walking distance to Lake Merritt, stores, restaurants, and cafes; - next to a bus line that goes to BART, downtown Oakland, and Berkeley; - near a 580 freeway entrance. The apartment will be shared with one housemate and some critters: I am 34 y/o and have lived in shared housing for several years. I'm considerate, easygoing, and clean but not an extreme neat freak. Two cats and a couple of guinea pigs also live with me, so I am looking for a roommate who likes animals or does not mind them. If you happen to have a cat or a small/medium-sized dog that gets along with other animals and is well-trained, that should be fine. Further, I am looking for: One roommate only, female preferred, someone who is responsible (i.e. pays rent/bills on time), reasonably clean, and considerate. You should not be a heavy partier, but occasional guests and drinking are fine. Rent is $725 a month and includes utilities, water, and internet. The deposit is $725 as well. My current roommate is also interested in selling the full-sized box spring and mattress in the room for $100. It is only 2 months old.
