When: June 1, 2014 We're looking for a new roommate for a bedroom in the lower level of our awesome group house. Unfortunately one of our housemates is jumping ship :( and we are looking for someone equally as awesome to replace her. COULD IT BE YOU?! All are welcome, we don't discriminate ;) About the roommates: One of our roommates is a personal assistant who moonlights as yoga instructor and waiter. He is fresh out of college and loves wine, scented oils and has a shopping addiction. Another roommate works as a production coordinator for a court reporting company. She likes cheap beer, binge watching netflix and going running when she isn't feeling too lazy. The third roommate is from Denmark and is studying his graduate degree here in D.C. He is nice when you finally understand his accent and lack of words often is a communication barriers lol haha :) #denmarkrules The other two roommates are still working on their bios... but they include a biking, yoga-loving community development non-profiter who enjoys lots of local concerts and a news/current events enthusiast working at PBS. What: The room has a window and a good sized closet. The house is great- you have to see it in person! It gets lots of light during the day and the main floor has tall ceilings and wood floors. (**PLEASE disregard the disorganization/mess in the pictures.Two roommates are in the process of packing their things!) The house has a big kitchen and an open living and dining area, with a front yard and porch as well as a back yard. The house also has a washer and dryer and lots of storage space. We're looking for new furniture too, so if you would like to bring anything with you, we have space for it! The security deposit is one months' rent and we split the utilities. There's also tons of street parking. Where: The house is less than a 10 minute walk to the Columbia Heights metro and less than 15 minute walk to the U St. metro. It's also conveniently located super close to tons of restaurants and bars on Georgia, 11th St. and 14th St. and is just a short walk from Meridian Hill Park.
