58 Voorhees St · Apartments for Rent

This top-floor 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom apartment on Voorhees Street delivers rare character at a very competitive price. The standout feature is the dramatic vaulted/sloped ceilings throughout — creating an open, loft-like atmosphere that sets it apart from any typical apartment. The living area and kitchen flow together in an open plan, with the angled ceiling adding volume and warmth. Modern multi-arm ceiling lighting, LVP flooring, and an updated kitchen with gray lower cabinets, white upper cabinets, and a stainless electric range complete the space. The bedroom features dark hardwood floors and its own vaulted ceiling detail — cozy and private. The bathroom has been fully renovated: large-format marble-look tile in the tub surround, a deep soaking tub, dark charcoal floor tile, white vanity with matte black faucet, and a medicine cabinet mirror. Located in Upper Clinton Hill, Newark — a quiet residential neighborhood with bus access and proximity to Essex County College.
