The apartment was renovated a few years ago and is gorgeous. It's the upper floor of a two-story building, and is incredibly sunny, with hardwood floors throughout. Spacious and open, with two balconies. Kitchen is granite with stainless steel appliances. In-unit laundry, plus central heat and AC. There's storage space in the basement, and, if you have a bike, there's a side door to the basement to ride up and easily park. If you have a car, there's an off-street parking spot. The bedroom is easily big enough for a queen-size bed plus desk or dresser. It has a wide closet, two windows and hardwood floors. Location: excellent. The house looks out on to JP's Monument Square. It's a 3 minute walk to the many shops and restaurants on Centre St. Just around the corner await incredible breakfast sandwiches at Fiore's Bakery. The City swimming pool is across the street, as is a weekly farmers' market. It's a 3 minute walk to either of two grocery stores. In short, your organic/local/independent/fair trade needs can be fulfilled in a 5 minute walk. The 39 bus (one of the best-rated buses on Yelp, ha) stops across the street, and it's a 7 minute walk to the Orange Line. Hubway station is across from the house. 4 minute bike ride to the Southwest Corridor and Emerald Necklace. About me: I'm a 29 year old male, an urban planner. I generally aim to be as chill as possible, and enjoy coming home to cook, bike, go to a cafe with a good book, watch the Bruins or other TV. Generally clean, always nonsmoking. I've lived here for ten months. About you: I'm looking for someone who's generally clean, respectful, drug-free, recycling -- you know, all that good stuff. Just as importantly, though, I'd like to have a sociable roommate - one who'd want to watch TV or chill on the porch after work, maybe get a beer at the end of the week, things like that.
