678 Massachusetts Ave · Apartment for Rent

Hello, We're looking for a room mate starting late March/early April (we're flexible). The apartment is in a brownstone in the South End, located near Boston Medical Center on Mass Ave. The price is $1000/month with everything included (heat, hot water, electricity, internet). We're somewhat flexible on the price for the right room mate. The place itself is awesome for the location. It's a pretty big place. Two beds, bathroom, kitchen, good closet space, etc. It's basement level, but it opens up onto the first floor of the street behind us. There's a washer and dryer inside the building, right outside the door. It's a steal in Boston, especially the South End. My wife and I are in our late 20's/early 30's. I work at a Law Firm downtown and my wife is a nanny for a family in Newton. We're quiet and at work quite a bit - pretty much the ideal room mates. We have two awesome dogs - one is named Aegon (we call him "Egg"). The other is named Raven. They're well behaved, low key, super sweet, don't bark, aren't assholes, etc. We're looking for someone who needs a place (furnished or unfurnished, we can do either) for short to long term (we're flexible). We're planning on moving to the West Coast at the beginning of Fall and the apartment has been handed down from friend to friend (because of how awesome it is) for a long time now, so if you're interested in keeping the place that would be a possibility. Our last room mate moved home after she graduated in the Winter and we figured now that it's Spring we'd rent the room out again. Our ideal room mate would be another 20's-ish working professional or graduate student. Due to our proximity to Boston Medical Center, Tufts Medical Center, Boston University Medical Campus, etc., this apartment would be ideal for a Resident or Medical Student. It is also located in the South End with all the nightlife and restaurant opportunities, as well as easy access to Back Bay/Downtown. We'd prefer to not have a ton of people over all the time, because we don't have a ton of people over, ever. A few friends is fine. Basically, someone who is focused on their life or career or school and isn't going to be all up in our business and wants a place where their room mates aren't all up in theirs. But we aren't uptight, we can sit back and have a few beers and a few laughs. Hit me up and so you can meet us and see the place.
